Permissions for Distribution Lists

These are the permissions required to create, access and modify distribution lists:

Permission	Description
Desktop:Show Distribution Lists Menu Item	Show the Laboratory Management > Distribution Lists menu item
Distribution Lists:Create Distribution Lists	Allow a user to create distribution list types
Distribution Lists:Delete List Types	Allow a user to delete distribution list types
Distribution Lists:Edit Distribution Lists	Allow a user to edit distribution list types
Distribution Lists:Edit List Types	Allow a user to edit distribution list types
Distribution Lists:Enable/Disable	Allow a user to enable and disable distribution list types
Distribution Lists:Link To Records	Allow a user to create links to and from distribution lists
Distribution Lists:Print Distribution Lists	Allow a user to print distribution lists
Distribution Lists:Remove Links	Allow a user to remove links attached to distribution Lists
Distribution Lists:View Distribution Lists	Allow a user to view distribution list types
Distribution Lists:View History	Allow a user to view the change history for distribution lists
Distribution Lists:View Print History	Allow a user to view the print history for distribution lists

All of these permissions are included in the following system roles:

‘Global Editor (excluding admin and personnel records)’
‘Global Editor (excluding admin)’
‘Laboratory Management Editor’

The last three permissions (‘Distribution Lists:View Distribution Lists’, ‘Distribution Lists:View History’ and ‘Distribution Lists:View Print History’) are included in the system roles:

‘Global Viewer (excluding admin and personnel records)’
‘Global Viewer (excluding admin)’
‘Laboratory Management Viewer’
