Searching and Reporting Complaints Records (Pt.3)

Complaint records are all gathered under the 'List Complaints' tab under the 'Quality Management' module.



The 'List Complaints' tab opens by default and provides 11 fields to help you locate or group Complaint records.



The search fields available are:

  • Search - a free text field to search by index or title, which can be entered partially
  • OU - the Organisational Unit where the record is kept
  • Status - a user configurable look-up list to mark the current stage of a Complaint record
  • Reported Start Date, Reported End Date - pop-up calendars allow setting a range of dates for when Complaint records were reported (as declared in the 'Reported on' field)
  • Resolved Start Date, Resolved End Date -pop-up calendars allow setting a range of dates for when Compliant record were closed
  • Assigned To - a dropdown menu which will search-as-you-type to locate users set as responsible for resolving complaint records
  • Type - a user configurable dropdown list to categorise Complaint records
  • State (Active/Inactive) - archived Complaint records can be searched with this filter
  • Order By- the following options are provided to sort Complaint records -
    • Name (A-Z)
    • Name (Z-A)
    • Index (A-Z)
    • Index (Z-A)
    • Reported Date (Oldest first)
    • Reported Date (Newest first)
    • Resolved Date (Oldest first)
    • Resolved Date (Newest first)
    • Created Date (Oldest first)
    • Created Date (Newest first)


The 'Export List' button allows you to generate a CSV report of the items below. As with other export buttons in the system, it will only export the search results. To export all records, leave the search criteria blank (except for the State field, which toggles between Active and Inactive).
